About us

Your high-end residential partners

Precision Builders started with Andrew’s aim of building homes for families across Gloucestershire. Today we’re a family-run team based in Gloucester, building extensions, new builds and renovations in Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud and across the Cotswolds.

We can design your project from the first sketch, or join once your plans are drawn. Either way, one team sees it through to handover. With Decoris and Precision Green Energy in the same family, your interiors and renewables are handled in-house too.

Start with us early and you get the most freedom. We’ll shape the plans with you and price the build properly before any work starts.

Build

Already have plans? We can join once the drawings are done, even if someone else designed them. A dedicated project manager runs your job from pre-start to handover.

Which areas do you cover?

We work across Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds, including Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Winchcombe and Fairford. If you’re nearby and not sure, just ask.

My plans are already drawn. Can you still build it?

Yes. We can join at any stage, including projects designed by someone else.

Do you handle planning permission and building regulations?

Yes. As part of our design service, we manage the planning permission process and building regulations on your behalf, so the journey is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Can you add solar panels or a heat pump as part of my build?

Yes. Precision Green Energy designs heat pumps, solar and battery storage into your project, so it’s planned in from the start, not added later.

We have used Precision for a number of projects, including 3 new bathrooms and a roof repair. On all occasions Nathan has been lovely to work with: knowledgeable and efficient. Without exception everyone sent to work at our home has been hard working, really skilful and lovely to have around. It's been at a great price too. We have been really impressed and would definitely recommend.

From the outset it was obvious that Nathan had a complete understanding of what we wanted to achieve with our new bathroom and talked us through what could be done; nothing was a problem. When the time came to do the work, his team were very professional, respected the fact that they were working in our home, were really well scheduled and did a really good job. When issues arose or decisions were required, these were never treated as problems but simply opportunities to discuss with us the best way forward. Everything was completed to a very high standard and all within the original quotation. We would certainly use Nathan and his team again.

Not a happy customer due to not getting the quote and get a reply within the timeline Precision promised. Actually, they don’t get back to us at all. We were originally told quote will be provided within 3 working days, then wait one week nothing. I sent email to the office which their office replied quote will be shared in next few days, and one week passes, we still haven’t got a quote or any reply. I think Precision is more fit for people who have a big renovation project, like a whole house or extension job, bit fancy job not handy work. We have a 14 sqm garage conversion project, and it may be too small or too cheap for Precision to put effort, hence Precision even never try to send the quote to us.

The team from Precision recently completed the build of a large rear extension on our home. We are delighted with the way the project was handled with a great deal of flexibiilty and respect for our deadlines and indeed our space. All of the work was carried out to time and by a range of expert trades who were focused on doing a good job and the right job. Thank you to you all for creating such a lovely living space.

Precision came into do a full rip-out and refurbishment of my house in Brookbank Close, Cheltenham. The comprised removing everything downstairs and installing new UF Heating, a new WC, a new kitchen, all electrics and plumbing works, and an unusual and demanding amount of custom joinery. The teams were a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them without hesitation.
